Toronto# Canada

First of all, I have to tell you that Greyhounds are the weirdest and the worst bus company I ever took in my life.
We used them 3 times and something went wrong each single time.

First time ,Chicago- Toronto: the bus we were supposed to take was “ full “,we found out afterward that they sell more tickets than they have availability in the bus, basically buying a ticket doesn’t guarantee you a seat, great isnt’it ?

So to make sure to get into the bus, you must arrive at least an hour prior departure, and wait in front of the line straight away.
Then, on our 2nd experience we were 3 hours late, and on the 3rd one the bus had technical issues, and stopped in the middle of the highway for hours.
If I can give you an advice : stay away from Greyhound …

Toronto is a lovely city to live in.

We were there during Christmast period, the weather was great, not cold as it supposed to be :D
My friend that I have met in Melbourne lives in Toronto and she invited us to come over for Christmas with her family.
We enjoyed a lot being with a Canadian familly for this celebration.

Something we really liked about Toronto is to walk around the Kensington and Laureens Market.
You will find the freshest products (Cheese, Fish, Saucisson, Meat ... ) but it' also well knows for the shops which are in the same area.

Kensington market has many different culture in the same area.
Here are some reviews and pictures about it : http://www.yelp.ca/biz/kensington-market-toronto
A shop we stopped to , was specialized in Pop Corn... well ... basically you can buy any type of Pop Corn there ( sweet, salty, various colours,fruity...)

Toronto has several famous neighbourhood:

- Dundas Square with its Eaton Center Big shopping center.
- Chinatown, which is near Kensington market as well
- Queen street west is well known for his independents coffee and clothing shops
- Yorkville
- Toronto Island and Harbour front during the summer

Toronto has also different area like Greektown, Koreatown, Little italy ...

CN Tower is where you can have a view of the city, here is more things to do http://www.timeout.com/toronto/things-to-do/best-things-to-do-in-toronto

We heard about DAKOTA TAVERN on different blog, so if you have a chance maybe you should try to go...

Outside of Toronto :

Niagara Falls can be reach by car within 1h30 from Toronto.

We wanted to go there but the weather wasn’t good, it was cold and rainy so locals told us that it wasn’t worth to go at this period of the year.

If you have any other good recommandation let me know :)
